Saturday Sparks Link Party 110

Welcome to Saturday Sparks 110!

Todays party may be a bit late, but I have a good excuse....
As much as I love winter, I was more than ready for the arrival of Spring. Much like a guest who overstays their welcome, this past winter lingered on far too long. Luckily for us, the weather here in New England changes on a dime and such was the case today.
So, my excuse for being late to the party....
I have been basking in our first full day of warmer temperatures and savoring the bright sun filled sky that seemed to have forgotten about us for a spell. It's amazing how much a beautiful day can lift your spirit.

Now, lets get this weeks party started.

First up, the Fabulous Features from Saturday Sparks 109.

Simple Southern Sunday No. 23 at Everyday Living. Pam shows us the beauty of Spring in her area, including this adorable Easter photo of her favorite little boy 'Braden' and ponders how the splendors of the season may symbolize the renewal of a life with Christ.

Onesie Cupcakes at Ash and Crafts. Ashley was inspired by another bloggers 'Bouquet of Onesies', and needed a gift for an upcoming baby shower. In this post, she shows how she created these oh-so-cute 'Onesie Cupcakes'.

Chain Piecing Half Square Triangles at From My Carolina Home. Half Square Triangles aka as HST's are used in many different quilt patterns and there are several ways to create them. In this post, Carole shares a quick chain piecing method that allows you to sew several HST's in one sweep.

DIY Book Jackets at Vintage, Paint and More... - Like so many of us, Cathy likes to use books in her decor. In this post, she shares how she customizes them with simple covers and different embellishments to compliment any style.

  5. Hi Suzanne,
I'm late too for the exact same reason. Although the wind was very cold, it was so sunny I had to spend the day outdoors.
So many beautiful features and the Easter pic with the adorable little boy in the back of the truck is fantastic! Thanks for hosting and I hope your Sunday is equally wonderful :)
